Today, B.H. James Distillers in Adairville, KY bottled for the very first time! A big step in a 10 year quest in becoming a distillery. The first product bottle was James Lake Vodka – Small Batch Crafted. It is a clean and crisp tasting 80 Proof vodka distilled from naturally gluten free American corn. The corn adds a nice subtle sweetness. James Lake is a real place! Owner Shawn McCormick’s Great-Grandparent Burton and Estelle James helped get it created from a natural spring that used to be the towns water source. Estelle sold the lake to the Red River Fish & Game club in the mid 1960’s and they still own and operate it today.
