My great-grandfather, Burton Hulon (B.H.) James, played professional baseball from 1908 to 1919, until he moved down to Adairville, KY to raise his family. 100 years later, inspired by his legacy, I found myself back in Adairville following my own dream: To open this distillery in his name.

We Filled Our First Barrel!

After ten weeks of distilling in all weather conditions, B.H. James Distillers created 34 gallons of 106.4 Proof Kentucky Grit Corn Whiskey, now part of Batch 3 of Burton James Whiskey, with a limited release planned for the 75th Adairville Strawberry Festival in May.
